Xiaomi has just released its new variant of a smartphone called Redmi Note 5 Pro in February 2018. The phone boasts a massive 5.99-inch LCD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 pixels X 2160 pixels.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a price band of Rs 13,999 in India. The main highlight of this phone is it’s Snapdragon 636 chipset and an LPDDR4X memory which are only in high-end devices. The phone also has an improved camera and better battery life. The price tag and major upgrades which are only found in the premium brands, has put Xiaomi far ahead in the competition.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro body is made up of a High-Quality Aluminium and plastic. The phone has an IPS LCD Display with a resolution of 403 PPI. The phone’s weight is 181 gms and its dimensions are 158.60 x 75.40 x 8.05 mm

Processor & RAM:

The Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a 4GB of RAM and the phone is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

Storage:

The phone has a huge internal storage of 64GB that can be expanded up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card.

GOOD

In this price range, you are getting an amazing new series of Snapdragon chipset which is only used in premium phone brands. Due to this high-end chipset version, the phone is able to accommodate a massive 6 GB RAM. The cameras has been improved a lot in terms of rich production of colors and details even in the low light. The front camera has a depth mode though uncomparable with Pixel 2 but works well.

BAD

Overall design wise the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a very similar border like its predecessor Note 5. The screen size is similar and battery capacity is also not enhanced as expected which is again a big disappointment.
